Scuba & Snorkeling Activities Offered :

The Snorkel & Scuba Dive Sites are usually chosen the day of the activity from an array of choices on West Maui , from Kapalua Bay to Olowalu , AND on South Maui from Kihei to Makena …weather permitting of course. Tiny Bubbles Scuba / Scuba Luv Maui is a “mobile” company …so if the water conditions are not “ideal” at the pre-planned dive site, then we can travel to a different dive site.  The meeting site will always be discussed prior to the activity.

INTRODUCTORY Scuba Dives for beginners (non-certified scuba divers)
1 hour in the Class/Water Skills , and then 1 hour on the Ocean Dive. NO experience necessary, Groups are small and very personalized.  If there are more divers, there will be more instructors provided.  There is a Medical Waiver to complete prior to doing any waterwork , see below for medical waiver. The Scuba Dive is about 20-30 ft. deep, for an avg.  of 40-45 min. The Dive is offered two times a day: 8:00am and 10:30am , and Certified scuba divers may join along on the Ocean dive.

REFRESHER Dive  (Certified Divers)
Our “refresher dive” is for the Certified Scuba Divers who haven’t been Scuba diving in a while ( 6 months to 1 year ),or maybe even a bit longer ( 1 year + ) and looking to do a “refresher” Scuba Dive. Prior to the ocean dive , we will go over all the gear and general diving practices. The dive(s) are conducted in calm ocean conditions, shallow depth ( 25′-35′ ),  done right off the shore.  This is an awesome dive to get back in to the “swim” of things.  A great refresher before your boat dive out to the Cathedral’s off Lanai or Molokini. Dive is offered two times a day: 8:00am and 10:30am

SCOOTER Dive  (Certified Divers)

The Scooter Dive is for Certified Divers. Each Scooter Dive lasts about 45-50 minutes , and most dives are to a depth of about 40-50 feet. The Scooter Dive includes everything needed for Scooter diving. No prior scooter diving experience is necessary. With the scooter, divers are able to cover 3 to 4 times more area underwater and travel up to 2 to 3 times faster than with just fins. Dive is offered two times a day: 8:00am and 10:30am

NIGHT Dive  (Certified Divers)

The Night Dive is for Certified Divers. Logistics are the same as our Beach Dive for Certified Divers, except this dive takes place at night!  It’s going to be DARK (hahaha) , but all divers have their own dive light and backup light. Tiny Bubbles Scuba provides all proper Night Diving equipment. During the Night Dive , you get a chance to see all the ocean critters that are hiding during the day. It’s only at night that they come out to play and feed. Everything swimming around during the day, now relaxes or sleeps on the reef. Nighttime marine life that you are most likely to see include : Octopus, Eel, Lobster, Crab, Shrimp, Squid & more.

Open Water Scuba Diver Certification Course
This program can be completed in as few as 3 days.
1st day would be the schedule of an Introductory Scuba (2-3 hrs) , and then a 2nd dive.
2nd day would be Academics / Water Skills / 1 ocean dive (4-6 hrs).
3rd day would be finishing Academics & paperwork/ and the final ocean dive (4-6 hrs). If willing to work hard, the program is possible to complete in 2 FULL days (8-10 hrs. each day). No guarantee on these times/schedules, as it depends on how students are performing. These are the shortest time periods to complete certification. Medical waiver to be completed prior to dives, see below for Medical Waiver.

Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Course (Certified Divers)
This program is a total of 5 dives. The 2 core dives are the DEEP dive and U/W NAVIGATION dive. The 3 elective dives can be chosen from about 20 other specialties like: Night dive, Scooter dive, U/W Photography, U/W Naturalist, Computer/Multilevel dive, Peak Performance Buoyancy, ETC…. This program can be completed over 2 days or spread out through your vacation. Medical waiver to be completed prior to the Ocean Dives, see below for Medical Waiver. Boat dive(s) on day 2 can be an option at an additoinal charge.

Open Water Scuba Diver Certification REFERRAL
This program can be completed within 2 days. 2 dives per day, usually 8:00am-12:00pm. PADI & SDI eLearning Program ( for O/W Scuba Diver certification)
To complete this program the student will need bring the completed PADI or SDI eLearning paperwork (Academic Sessions) with them to Maui. Then we  would complete the Confined Water and 4 Ocean Dives over a 2 day period (minimum 2 days) pending how the student is taking to the program.  When registering for this program, please contact Tiny Bubbles Scuba for directions on how to register.  Everything is included to complete Open Water Scuba Diver certification. GUIDED BEACH SNORKEL TOUR  (Swimmers)

Snorkel Tour is led by a Certified Instructor and Marine Naturalist on West Maui.   All Snorkel Gear is included (Mask, Snorkel, Fins & Flotation Device) and Prescription Masks are available upon request.   Max. out at 6 Snorkelers unless PRIVATE group.  Minimum age is 5 years old, and the snorkeler needs to be able to swim.   PHOTOS (above/below water) are included on every snorkel trip !!!  “Let’s get Snorkelin’..!!”  Snorkel Tours are offered from 8:00AM – 10:00AM.

DIVE LOCATIONS :

Flourishing coral reefs, teaming with all of Hawaii’s reef marine life. Most common Highlight of the dive(s) is seeing all the GREEN SEA TURTLES. Occasionally we can find a Hawksbill Sea Turtle roaming the reef looking for a snack. Octopus are also common which are quite an amazing treat to encounter. White Tip Reef Sharks are also seen regularly at a few of our sites. Many of Hawaii’s variety of Eel’s can be seen poking their faces out looking like hand puppets , or sometimes out swimming around in the open. Reef fish include everything from Parrotfish, Wrasse, Surgeonfish, Triggerfish, Butterflyfish, Pufferfish, etc… Unusual inhabitants are critters like : Flying Gurnard, Monk Seal, Manta Ray, SEA HORSE, Leaf Scorpion fish, Spotted Eagle Ray, Spinner Dolphins, Crocodile Eel, Frogfish , just to name a few.
